G.J. Cennamo, M.S., CFP                                            

G.J. Cennamo is The Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Certified Tax & Financial Planners, Inc. and Market Timing Resources, LLC. He is married and works with his wife and Corporate Partner Wendy Cennamo. They have three sons and two daughters, Steven, Jerry II, Woody, Destiny and Spring, as well as several grandchildren, Christopher Jonathan, Joseph, Miranda, Alexsys, Rickey, Daisy and Chloé.

Mr. Cennamo earned his Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) in 1977 and earned a Masters of Science Degree in Financial Planning in 1984. Jerry also assisted in the founding of the Orange County Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners (IAFP) that has currently changed its name to the Financial Planners Association (FPA) and has received the very exclusive “Lifetime Member” status.

Throughout his almost forty years in the financial planning industry, Mr. Cennamo has been the recipient of many professional licenses, certifications and awards. But his most treasured awards are the ones he has received from his peers. Financial planners from IAFP chapters in Orange County California, Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona, have each declared a “Jerry Cennamo Day,” as he was the sole lecturer for the entire days’ events.

Mr. Cennamo has participated extensively in the educational process of both financial planners and the general public. He has been a former adjunct faculty member of the College for Financial Planning and member of both management and faculty of Southern States University. He is renowned for his lecturing to the general public about the importance of coordinated financial planning and the tax benefits of starting a small business from your own home. At one point hosting a talk show called “the Tax Guys.” Having authored several textbooks in his field (including Foundations of Financial Planning, an integrated workbook. and The Tax Preparers Exclusive Wealth Builder Handbook. He also holds the copyrights on financial planning software that he developed called ‘Life Planning Analysis.’ He has established a reputation as one of the most outstanding and controversial authorities in the fields of taxation and financial planning. Mr. Cennamo has been one of America’s most successful financial planners – and is certainly one of the most innovative.

Wendy Cennamo is The Secretary of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of Certified Tax & Financial Planners, Inc. and Managing Member of Market Timing Resources, LLC. She is married and works with her Corporate Partner and husband Jerry Cennamo. They have three sons and two daughters, Steven, Jerry II, Woody, Destiny and Spring, as well as several grandchildren, Christopher Jonathan, Miranda, Alexsys, Joseph, Chloe, Rickey and Daisy.

Mrs. Cennamo has been a California Notary Public since 1986. She earned her Certificate in Tax and Financial Planning designation (CTFP) in 1990 from Southern States University.

Wendy is the Electronic Return Originator (ERO) for Certified Tax & Financial Planners, Inc. and her dynamic and effervescent personality is the primary stimuli in the organization. She is the central gatekeeper for Jerry and responsible for assemblage of the various facets of their financial planning practice.
